The Standards Institution of Israel (SII) is the official body responsible for the preparation and publication of standards in Israel. Its Quality and Certification Division is the largest certification body in the country, offering a wide range of certification services for various sectors of the economy.

 

Established in 1945, SII operates under the Standards Law of 1953 as a state-owned corporation responsible for setting standards for products and services in Israel. The Quality and Certification Division certifies about 30 diverse management systems, such as ISO 9001 (quality management systems), ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 27001 (information security management), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), and AS 9100 (quality management systems - aerospace). This division holds accreditations from renowned international bodies, including the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) and the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB). It also serves as the sole Israeli delegate at IQNet Association – the world's largest certification network, providing clients with a marketing edge.
