In brief

  • Reviews are published on the profiles of individual certification bodies.
  • The form records audit planning, audit delivery, the standard and the certification-process type.
  • A paid profile does not affect ratings or reputation-distinction rules.
  • Certiget checks reviews against its rules and performs sample authenticity checks.

Real client experiences, transparent assessment principles and more reliable information about ISO certification. Certiget is developing a specialist reputation system for certification bodies that helps organisations make informed decisions and helps bodies build trust through service quality.

Choosing a certification body is a decision whose consequences an organisation experiences throughout the certification cycle. Audit price, brand recognition and accreditation all matter, but so do how the process is conducted, the quality of communication and the experience of working with auditors.

Until now, this information has been dispersed and difficult to compare.

Certiget brings it together by combining its certification body directory with a client-review system. The platform makes it possible to understand other organisations’ experiences, assess individual certification stages and share first-hand observations.

Our aim is to develop an independent source of information about certification body reputation that is useful to clients and to the sector as a whole.

What is the Certiget review system?

The Certiget review system is an industry-focused solution for assessing certification bodies through the experiences of organisations that use their services.

Unlike general review platforms, it focuses on management-systems certification and audits conducted in line with the requirements of standards and certification programmes.

Ratings and comments are published on the profiles of individual certification bodies. This lets users see information about a body, its offering, accreditations and client experiences in one place.

Certiget serves two markets: certiget.pl is intended for the Polish market, while certiget.eu serves international audiences.

More than an overall rating: the course of cooperation matters

An average rating alone does not always explain what working with a certification body is really like.

For that reason, Certiget gathers more detailed information about client experience.

The review form covers an overall rating, audit planning, audit delivery and the opportunity to describe an individual experience. A reviewer can also identify the standards concerned, for example ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO/IEC 27001.

An important part of the system is also identifying the certification-process type.

A review may relate to:

  • an initial certification audit;
  • a surveillance audit;
  • a recertification audit;
  • the entire certification cycle;
  • a certificate transfer;
  • another type of experience.

This distinction has practical value.

An organisation that rates its first audit highly may have a different experience in subsequent surveillance audits. Equally, a long-term relationship makes it possible to assess not only one interaction with an auditor, but also the predictability of the process and continuity of service.

By connecting reviews with a particular standard and process type, Certiget makes published information more useful to future clients.

Certification bodies can actively invite clients to share a review

Building a credible reputation system requires active participation across the market.

For this reason, Certiget enables certification bodies to direct clients to a review form through an individual link or QR code.

An invitation can be sent after an audit, included in an email or made available in a body’s information materials.

The client reaches a form with the chosen certification body already selected, without having to search for it again.

A body does not need to provide Certiget with its client database or email addresses. It can send invitations itself through its own communication channels.

The condition remains unchanged: an invitation should be neutral and must not make participation conditional on leaving a positive review.

Positive experiences are valuable, but neutral and critical reviews are equally important. Their honest presentation is what makes a reputation system credible.

Review credibility and independent verification

Certiget accepts reviews concerning genuine experiences connected with certification-body activity.

When submitting a review, its author supplies an email address that is not displayed publicly. This enables contact if the circumstances of the described experience need clarification.

Certiget does not change ratings or the substantive content of client reviews. Positive and negative reviews are treated on equal terms.

Before publication, Certiget checks whether a review complies with its rules and performs sample authenticity checks. Where there is doubt, it may contact the author to clarify the circumstances of the experience described.

It is important to distinguish how a review was received from confirmation of its authenticity.

A review submitted through a body’s individual link is not automatically treated as a verified client experience. An invitation itself is not proof that an audit took place or that the author used the assessed organisation’s services.

Publication does not depend on whether a review is positive or on the commercial interests of Certiget or the assessed body. Whether a review may be published depends on compliance with the rules and established standards.

Reputation cannot be bought

Independence is a core principle of the Certiget review system.

Certification bodies may use additional platform services, including enhanced profiles, presentation of their offering or promotional activity. This does not affect client ratings, the way results are calculated or the criteria for reputation distinctions.

A paid profile does not mean a higher rating. The absence of a commercial relationship does not restrict clients’ right to review a body.

This separation matters to both organisations seeking certification and certification bodies themselves.

Certiget is not an accreditation body and does not replace formal oversight of certification bodies. Published reviews describe client experiences and provide an additional source of information when considering available options.

“Recommended by Clients 2026”: a distinction based on public criteria

The review system also underpins the “Recommended by Clients 2026” programme.

The programme distinguishes certification bodies that meet defined, publicly available criteria related to client experience.

The 2026 edition takes account of, among other factors:

  • at least 10 qualifying reviews;
  • reviews from at least 10 different clients or organisations;
  • an overall average rating of at least 4.50 out of 5.00;
  • no identified attempts to manipulate reviews or other irregularities that could affect the result.

Eligibility is assessed after the edition closes and the data has been checked.

The distinction is not a certificate or accreditation. It communicates client experience and fulfilment of the Certiget programme criteria.

It cannot be purchased or obtained in return for using paid platform services.

What do certification bodies gain?

The reputation system is also a tool for certification bodies themselves.

Through public reviews, a body can present client experiences beyond its own marketing materials, strengthen credibility with prospective clients and identify areas for improvement.

This is especially valuable in a market where the quality of cooperation is not always possible to assess before a contract is signed.

Certiget creates a shared space for large international certification organisations and smaller bodies operating in local markets.

Each can build its reputation on real client experience, regardless of its scale of activity or profile type in the directory.

Access to the ability to collect reviews does not require the purchase of an Enhanced Profile. Learn more about cooperation with Certiget.

How do reviews help choose a certification body?

Client reviews complement other information that should be assessed before choosing a certification body.

For ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO/IEC 27001 certification, relevant considerations include the appropriate accreditation and its scope, sector experience, contract conditions, audit time and the total cost of the certification cycle.

Other organisations’ experiences also help explain how a body plans audits, communicates with clients and organises cooperation.

That is why Certiget combines the certification body directory with reviews and the ability to compare offers.

Reputation does not replace substantive due diligence. It helps people carry it out using a broader set of information.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I check reviews of an ISO certification body?

Reviews of certification bodies are available on their Certiget directory profiles. You can see an overall rating, detailed audit ratings and client comments.

Can I leave a review after a surveillance audit or recertification?

Yes. Certiget enables experiences from different stages of the certification process to be reviewed, including initial certification, surveillance, recertification, transfer and the full cycle.

Does Certiget verify client reviews?

Certiget checks reviews against its rules and performs sample authenticity checks. Where there is doubt, it may ask an author for additional information. This does not mean that every published review has been individually confirmed with documents.

Can a certification body invite its clients to leave reviews?

Yes. Bodies can use individual invitation links and QR codes leading to the review form. Invitations should be neutral and addressed to clients regardless of the expected rating.

Does a body have to pay to collect reviews on Certiget?

No. The option for clients to publish reviews does not depend on buying a paid profile or an advertising relationship with Certiget.

Does a high rating on Certiget confirm a body’s accreditation?

No. Client ratings describe experiences of cooperation and the certification process. Accreditation and its scope should be checked separately with the relevant accreditation body.

Certiget: reputation based on experience, not declarations

The certification market needs not only easier access to quotations, but also more transparent information about the quality of cooperation.

Certiget connects knowledge about certification bodies with the experiences of their clients, creating a specialist space for making informed certification-service choices.

This benefits organisations seeking the right partner and bodies that want to build their reputation on real client experience.

Good reputation should follow from the quality of cooperation. Certiget helps make it visible.
