Role overview

Victaulic is recruiting a Quality Engineer for its Commerce Park operation in the Easton / Lower Nazareth area, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on manufacturing quality, improving controls for painted, assembled and kitted products, root cause analysis and continuous improvement. The employer states a base salary range of USD 75,000–95,000 per year and requires current US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Six Sigma and continuous-improvement projects.
• Investigate customer and internal quality issues and define corrective actions.
• Track cost-of-quality and other manufacturing quality performance indicators.
• Complete initial sample inspection reports (ISIR) for new products, processes and suppliers.
• Participate in process failure mode and effects analyses (PFMEA).
• Support preparation for ISO 9001 registration audits, agency audits and internal audits.

Requirements

• Engineering degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing and quality.
• Problem-solving, communication, teamwork and independent project management skills.
• Knowledge of measurement tools, statistical methods and control charts.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Minitab; SolidWorks experience advantageous.
• ASQ CQE and/or Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt desirable.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer immigration sponsorship.
