ISO Survey 2023 Report Results Reveal Interesting Data on Global Management Systems Certifications

This year, unlike previous editions, the results have been significantly impacted by the absence of data from China. This is a key factor, as the country has traditionally provided a substantial number of certificates, particularly in areas such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Despite this gap, the level of participation from other certifying bodies remains high and consistent with previous years.

Here are some of the key results for the main ISO standards:

Increases in the number of certificates were observed in countries such as Poland, South Korea, Italy, and the USA.

The report also highlights the growing importance of certifications related to information security management (ISO 27001) and energy management (ISO 50001), which is especially relevant in the context of global challenges around cybersecurity and sustainable development.
